Do you want to INITIATE CURIOSITY in your classrooms?
We do! We want to enable children to access mapping in a fun and informative way.
edMapping has developed a new and unique cross curricular educational mapping product called MapMat which is supplied with lesson ideas for the primary sector.
What is a MapMat? It is a bespoke Ordnance Survey map printed on a set of foam tiles for use as a large scale puzzle and resource in the classroom or outside space.
MapMat has been developed by a teacher for teachers to use, to engage children’s curiosity, learn about their local area and make geography fun. It is centred on the area of your school or alternative postcode.
MapMat consists of:
Interconnecting EVA foam tiles.
With a school-centered Ordnance Survey map printed on top and coated with a protective layer.
Each tile is 60/30cm square.
It is centred on the area of your school or alternative postcode.
A downloadable set of lesson plans, linked to the current and proposed English National Curriculum.
