edMapping has developed a new and unique cross curricular educational mapping product called MapMat which is supplied with lesson ideas for the primary sector.
What is a MapMat? It is a bespoke Ordnance Survey map printed on a set of foam tiles for use as a large scale puzzle and resource in the classroom or outside space.
MapMat has been developed by a teacher for teachers to use, to engage children’s curiosity, learn about their local area and make geography fun. It is centred on the area of your school or alternative postcode.
MapMat consists of:
